Head Chef – Small Bistro-Style Restaurant
Employment Type: Full-Time
Hours: 45 hours Must be available weekends
Salary: £40-£45 depending on experience
We’re a small, vibrant bistro-style restaurant known for our quality food, exceptional Sunday roasts, and warm, community-focused atmosphere. We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen and help drive the business forward.


What We’re Looking For


Proven experience as a Head Chef
Strong leadership skills – able to motivate and guide a small, close-knit team
Reliability & consistency – fully available throughout the season, especially on weekends
Excellent ordering & stock management skills to keep control of margins and waste
Willingness to work side-by-side with the General Manager to improve KPIs, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality output
A passion for delivering great food, including our signature Sunday roasts


Key Responsibilities


Lead day-to-day kitchen operations
Maintain exceptional food standards and consistency
Create seasonal menus aligned with cost targets
Manage stock, ordering, and supplier relationships
Ensure food safety and hygiene compliance
Develop and support your kitchen team
