Head Chef

We are looking for a Head Chef who can;

Demonstrate, through great menu design and innovative use of ingredients, a full understanding of local and seasonal cookery.

Maintain great supplier relations and secure best prices for our business

Consistently manage stock rotation and minimize wastage

You must be financially savy and able to control staffing costs and GP’s

• Lead our policy of sourcing local, sustainably produced ingredients, including strong vegan and vegetarian options daily.

• Communicate daily with suppliers

• Create brilliant modern British with vegan and vegetarian specials & menu dishes on a daily basis

• Cost & price menu dishes and specials

• Manage purchasing, stock, wage costs and GP margins

• Motivate, inspire and develop the kitchen team

• Be responsible for the financial kitchen management, reporting weekly to the director

• Maintain the highest standards of food quality, service & hygiene practices
