Key Responsibilities:
As a Retail Manager, you will:
Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and develop staff to maintain a high-performing team.
Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback on staff performance.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and growth.
Customer Service Excellence:
Liaise with staff to provide up-to-date information on merchandise and special promotions to customers.
Ensure customer complaints and queries regarding sales and services are resolved promptly and effectively.
Stock Management:
Ensure adequate reserves of merchandise are maintained and oversee efficient stock management.
Examine the quality of merchandise to meet customer expectations.
Financial Oversight:
Oversee the maintenance of financial and operational records.
Authorise payments for supplies, decide on pricing strategies, discounts, and credit terms.
Store Presentation & Security:
Ensure effective use of advertising and display facilities to maximise sales.
Oversee security arrangements to protect the premises and its assets.
Experience not sessional however will be preferred.
