    Hospitality Assistant – Temp to Perm Location: London central Contract: 12-week temporary contract, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position Pay: £14.80 per hour Hours: 37.5 hours per week Operational Hours: 7:30am–6:00pm We are currently recruiting for a Hospitality Assistant to join the team onsite at a leading law firm in central London. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity, with the initial 12 weeks on a temporary contract before moving into a permanent position, subject to performance and suitability. The Role Working as part of a small and friendly hospitality team, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality meeting and events service across the building. The site has 19 meeting rooms and one conference room, with capacity to cater for events of up to 80 guests. As there is no kitchen on site, food is delivered by external caterers and prepared, presented and served by the hospitality team. This is a hands-on role where no two days are necessarily the same. You will need to be flexible and comfortable moving between floors and supporting wherever required to ensure the smooth running of the hospitality operation. Your responsibilities will include: • Setting up and servicing meeting rooms and conference spaces., • Preparing and presenting food and refreshments for meetings and events., • Serving plated food to clients and guests., • Supporting drink receptions, canapés and corporate events., • Clearing and resetting meeting rooms throughout the day., • Maintaining excellent presentation and service standards., • Working closely with the Hospitality Manager and wider team., • Moving between different floors to support meeting and event requirements., • Ensuring guests receive a professional and welcoming service at all times., • Helping wherever needed as part of a small, hands-on team. Working Hours The operational hours are 7:30am to 6:00pm, with shifts varying depending on the business requirements. Typical shifts include: • 7:30am–3:30pm, • 8:00am–4:00pm, • 9:00am–5:00pm, • 10:00am–6:00pm Flexibility is therefore essential, as shift patterns will vary depending on how busy the day is. About You We are looking for someone who is: • Experienced in hospitality, catering, restaurants, hotels or a similar customer-facing environment., • Professional, polished and confident when dealing with corporate clients and guests., • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment., • Flexible and willing to get involved with all aspects of the operation., • Happy working as part of a small team., • Proactive, organised and able to work with minimal supervision., • Physically comfortable being on their feet and moving between floors throughout the day., • Passionate about delivering excellent customer service., • Well-presented with a professional manner. Experience within corporate hospitality, law firms, professional services or fine dining would be advantageous, but is not essential.
