    Subcontract Heating Engineer & Plumber Location: Bracknell and surrounding areas covering hampshire and Surrey Job Type: Self-Employed / Subcontractor Start Date: Immediate About the Role We are looking for experienced, reliable and professional Heating Engineers & Plumbers to join our growing team on a subcontract basis. We have regular domestic work available for engineers who take pride in their workmanship, provide excellent customer service and can work independently. The successful applicants will carry out a range of heating and plumbing works in domestic properties. Key Responsibilities ● Boiler installations, replacements, servicing and repairs ● Heating system installations, upgrades and maintenance ● Fault finding and diagnosis of heating and hot water systems ● Installation and repair of radiators, pumps, valves, cylinders and pipework ● General domestic plumbing repairs and installations ● Hot and cold water plumbing ● Leaking pipework, taps, toilets and sanitaryware ● Unvented hot water cylinder work ● Heating controls and system components ● Complete jobs safely, efficiently and to a high standard ● Carry out work in accordance with current regulations and industry standards ● Maintain a clean and tidy working environment ● Communicate professionally with customers and the office ● Complete job sheets, photographs and any required paperwork Requirements ● Proven experience as a Heating Engineer and/or Plumber ● Gas Safe Registered with relevant qualifications for gas work ● Relevant plumbing qualifications and experience ● Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills ● Own tools and suitable vehicle ● Full UK driving licence ● Public liability insurance ● Ability to work independently and manage your own workload ● Professional approach and excellent customer service skills ● Reliable, punctual and hardworking ● Right to work in the UK Desirable Qualifications / Experience ● Unvented hot water qualification ● Experience with boiler replacements and heating installations ● Experience with heating controls ● Experience with system and combination boilers ● Experience with domestic plumbing installations and repairs ● Experience with heat pumps / renewable heating systems What We Offer ● Regular subcontract work ● Competitive rates ● Consistent flow of jobs ● Local work where possible ● Flexible working arrangements ● Fast and reliable payment ● Dedicated office support ● Long-term work for reliable and high-quality subcontractors Apply Now If you are an experienced Heating Engineer & Plumber looking for regular subcontract work, we would like to hear from you.
