Accounts Payable Professional Location: This role can be based from any of our Leidos UK offices with flexibility to work from home around business demands Were ready for you to unleash your potential! The Role: Leidos is looking for a pro-active experienced individual with great attention to detail to take on all aspects of an Accounts Payable role. The individual will be required to complete all related tasks from data entry query resolution statement reconciliations and supplier liaison. The successful individual will have the ability to work remotely or onsite and the experience to see a query through to resolution by engaging and collaborating with stakeholders. The business has grown in complexity and the individual will be required to work across multiple systems & understand the various workflows and addition to the ability to identify and understand the different legal entities tax entities and currencies a keen attention to detail will be key to ensure accurate records and avoid re-work. What will I be doing • Invoice review review invoice formats ensure valid tax invoices for correct Leidos entities, • Query resolution proactively research and resolve invoice issues through to resolution & payment, • Reconcile supplier statements and own key supplier relationships, • Invoice entry entry and upload of payables documents into system, • Support Accounts Payable Manager with all aspects of team tasks, • Present & chair periodic meetings with stakeholders What does Leidos need from me • Proven track record in a similar finance or Accounts Payable role, • Understanding of VAT and tax document rules, • Understanding of basic accounting norms double entry general ledgers and sub-ledgers, • Good interpersonal skills and judgement for dealing with both internal and external stakeholders, • The ability to communicate negotiate and influence effectively, • Enthusiastic self-starter, • Intermediate / Advanced Excel skills It would be great but not essential if you also had; • AAT or equivalent an advantage, • Previous experience of working in a multi-national company environment, • Knowledge of supply chains in multi-national organisations Clearance Requirements: BPSS Screening Required Are you ready to make an impact Begin your journey of a flourishing and meaningful career share your CV with us today!
