SCADA & Systems Integration Commissioning EngineerLocation: Chichester, West Sussex (with travel across regional sites)This role is an integral part of delivering projects within the Southern Water Framework. You will support the commissioning and integration of SCADA and telemetry (Regional SCADA) systems, including communications and PLC replacement, working collaboratively with project teams and the Southern Water Operational Technology team.You will contribute throughout the project lifecycle, helping to ensure systems are designed, installed, tested, and commissioned effectively, safely, and in line with project requirements through to handover.What you will be doing: Support delivery of SCADA, telemetry, system integration, communications, and PLC replacement activities alongside project and commissioning teamsUnderstand project requirements, interfaces with existing systems, and commissioning needsContribute to and help deliver commissioning strategies, plans, and documentationWork closely with the Southern Water Operational Technology team to maintain asset integrationEnsure installations meet technical standards, client specifications, and relevant industry standards (e.g. WIMES)Follow organisational MEICA and commissioning processes and proceduresCoordinate commissioning activities with internal teams and supply chain partners to meet programme requirementsSupport planning, progress tracking, and participation in commissioning meetingsEnsure compliance with electrical and mechanical safety requirementsAssist with FAT, SAT, dry testing, and wet commissioning activitiesMaintain accurate records, test documentation, and handover informationSupport training plan development and pre-handover operational readinessHelp resolve defects and outstanding works prior to project completionPromote safe working practices at all timesAbout you:Experience delivering SCADA, telemetry, and systems integration within the water industryExperience supporting commissioning through to successful project completionAbility to collaborate with project teams and clients to resolve issues and maintain progressUnderstanding of water industry processes, and mechanical and electrical systemsStructured and organised approach to commissioning activitiesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office for reporting and communicationAwareness of health, safety, and environmental practicesEssential Qualifications and Certifications:CSCS/ECS Card in appropriate discipline SSSTSExperience with systems such as Wonderware, Windows Server, RsLogix/Studio 5000, VMware, Simatic, and CiscoDesirable Qualifications and Certifications (support available):EUSR National Water Hygiene CardSMSTSWhat We Can Offer in Return:With an impressive order book of over 4.3 billion we are one of the industry’s leading principal contractors, affording you the opportunity to work on some of the UK’s most exciting projects offering you stability as well as the chance to stretch your capabilities and realise long held career goals.
