Job Description: Sateba UK would like to recruit an experienced Production Shift Supervisors to cover a shift of 04.00 to 13.30 and 06.00 - 14.30, Monday to Friday on rotation, for their site in Ilkeston. As a Shift Supervisor you will lead a team to ensure the daily targets are met in a safe and efficient manner, collaborating with other Supervisors and Managers along the way. You will optimise productivity and uphold safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the activities of your department, including liaising with other departmental supervisors and management to ensure a safe and tidy working environment compliant with Company specification to meet Company and client requirements, • Manage attendance and timekeeping and escalate when necessary, • Ensure compliance with Company Health & Safety regulations, • Development and delivery of risk assessments, • Create SOPs to ensure all tasks within the factory areas have set procedures which are followed by all Production personnel, • Ensure high standards of housekeeping are met, • Monitor and achieve productivity targets, • Ensure all equipment and tools are in full working order, • Hold daily briefings and team meetings to keep personnel up to date and on track, • Proactively communicate with the management team to identify and resolve any arising or identified issue, • Maintain high standards for working practices, attitudes and behaviours Knowledge and Experience: • Previous experience of working in a supervisory role, • Experience in concrete/pre-cast sector would be beneficial but is not required, • Experience of quality control processes, • Knowledge of production processes Qualifications and Training: • A good knowledge of MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, • IOSH, • NEBOSH (beneficial but not required), • FLT Licence (beneficial but not required), • ILM, CMI or equivalent (beneficial but not required) Sateba UK is an equal opportunities employer.
