On behalf of our London based client, we are currently recruiting an experienced Compliance & Safety Engineer with Part 145 experience.\n\nJob Title: Compliance & Safety Engineer\n\nLocation: London Heathrow Airport\n\nContract Type: Permanent, Fulltime Onsite\n\nPackage: Basic plus a great benefits package \n\nThis is a UK based opportunity, to be successful in your application you must already have the rights to live and work in the UK, sponsorship is not available. \n\nScope of Role \n\nThis is a fabulous opportunity to join a world-renowned company specialising in Aircraft Engine Maintenance. You will Support the Compliance Monitoring & Safety Manager in providing Compliance Monitoring and SMS oversight of the business, conduct and follow up on internal and external audits to ensure compliance across all areas and functions of the organisation. \n\nMain Duties/Responsibilities\n\nConducting internal and external scheduled / unscheduled audits in accordance with the audit plan and ensuring non-conformances are corrected within agreed timeframes\nEnsures company policies, procedures and the MOEs are maintained in compliance with the applicable competent authority regulations.\nConducting investigations and preparing reports on quality, technical and maintenance issues with RCA for the Authorities, Compliance / Quality Manager and the Accountable Manager as appropriate\nlead and support quality and compliance investigations and RCA\nResponsible to coordinate the monthly safety and quality review meeting\nMonitor and Manage SMS and implementation within the organisation\nManage the safety risk assessment and risk register\nTo facilitate and sustain a Just Culture within the organisation\nCollect, analyse, and summarize quality-related information and trends to prepare reports on product and process quality.\nPromotes safety across all working environments\nLiaise with customers and supplier quality departments as neededExperience Required \n\nEngineering degree in aviation qualified, or equivalent,\nMore than 5 years' experience in aircraft or engine maintenance,\nHave carried out training and either have experience as or are currently a Part 145 qualified auditor\nKnowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety rules, Human Factors, Human performance / limitations, and associated regulations as they apply to aircraft / engine maintenance.\nExperience in Civil Aviation Part 145 organization Compliance Monitoring / QMS and SMS, experience in Part IS is advantageousBehaviours\n\nAlign with our client's core values of: Safety, Quality, Integrity, Teamwork, Excellence and Sustainable development. \n\nMust have a 'Can do' approach to problem solving and delivery\nYou should be comfortable working in an operationally urgent and customer focused environment To apply please send your latest CV for evaluation. \n\nDue to the number of applications that we receive, it's not always possible to contact unsuccessful applicants.
