Mamma Dough restaurants are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chef to join our team in London. Responsibilities: Deliver dishes that are unique, seasonal, high quality, and visually appealing. SuppoSupport the executive Chef with the management of kitchen staff, ensuring effective communication, organization, and training. Supervise food production, ensuring that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner and meet the restaurant's high standards. Maintain accurate inventory lists, order supplies, and ensure they are stored in the proper manner. Maintain a clean, sanitary environment in the kitchen, following all food safety regulations. Strive to maintain food costs within budgetary limits. Ensure that all dishes are presented in a visually appealing manner. Requirements: At least 1 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a busy restaurant environment. Able to construct and build pizza from scratch Proven experience in managing a team. good communication and organizational skills. Thorough knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure. Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required. Previous painting and decorating experience is essential. Apply paint, stain and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and furniture. Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces for finish coats. Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, etc. Remove wallpaper, make good walls, apply paste and apply new wallpaper. Cover surfaces with appropriate material for protection during painting and post appropriate paint signs. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure personal appearance is clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Examine and inspect tools, equipment, and stock items for wear or defects. Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing in excess of 100 pounds. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move through confined or elevated spaces. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces. Move up and down stairs, service ramps and/or ladders. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors. CSCS Card required.
