    Job description Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Technician to join our Accounts team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organisation. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in accounting software. Responsibilities • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations., • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions., • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports., • Supporting the senior accounting staff in day-to-day tasks, • Utilise accounting software such as Xero and Sage for various financial management tasks., • Performing reconciliations of bank statements. Skills • Strong knowledge of financial management and financial accounting principles., • Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero., • Experience in accounts payable processes is essential., • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail., • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team., • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively., • Previous experience in financial services is advantageous.
