ESOL stands for English for Speakers of Other Languages. We need an awesome English Teacher to join us from Now. If you love teaching English and want to help students do their best, this could be perfect for you! you'll use a range of course books and materials, along with a variety of audio visual aids, to encourage students to communicate with each other using the structures and vocabulary they've learned and to improve the four basic language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. A strong emphasis is placed on dialogue and role-playing, but more formal exercises, language games and literature are also used.
Responsibilities and Duties:
plan, prepare and deliver lessons to a range of classes and age groups.
prepare and set tests, examination papers and exercises.
Teaching: Help students learn to read, write, listen, and speak English.
Lesson planning: Create lessons that meet the needs of students and follow the curriculum.
Assessment: Develop assessment tools, grade students, and provide feedback.
Study skills: Provide instruction in study skills and academic language.
Grammar and vocabulary: Provide feedback on grammar and vocabulary usage.
High stakes assessments: Provide strategies for high stakes assessments.
prepare information for inspection visits and other quality assurance exercises.
undertake administrative tasks, such as keeping student registers and attendance records.
Experience:
No specific academic qualifications are required But 1 to 2 year Experience required for this job.
