Whether you’re new to care or experienced, this is an opportunity to build a rewarding, long-term career - any truly make a difference!\n\nAbout the Service – Huntsman Lodge \n\nHuntsman Lodge is a Supported Living service which provides care and support for people with learning disabilities and/or autistic spectrum disorder who enjoy a wide range of hobbies from Bowling and Swimming to Dance and Music.,\nThere is easy access to public transport and it is close to local shops.\n\nService User Interests\n\nThe people we support enjoy a wide range of activities, and Support Workers play a vital role in enabling these experiences, including:\n\nArts and crafts \nDays out such as Theme Parks, Meals out, Social activities, Christmas markets etc. \nHolidays and short breaks \nWalks in the local park and community \nCooking and baking to develop life skillsThe Role\n\nYou will:\n\nDeliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans \nAssist with daily living skills and personal care where required \nPromote independence, dignity, and wellbeing \nSupport activities, appointments, and community access \nMaintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team \nWork a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-insWho We’re Looking For\n\nWe’re seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.\n\nNo previous experience? No problem!
