Responsibilities • Walk dogs safely in both solo and small group walks., • Build strong relationships with dogs and their owners through reliable, professional care., • Confidently handle dogs with a range of needs, including puppies, seniors, reactive dogs, large breeds and strong pullers., • Provide updates, photos and feedback after walks where required., • Follow Rufio's safety and welfare standards at all times. Requirements • Previous professional experience in dog walking or another dog care role (daycare, boarding, training, veterinary care, etc.)., • Confident handling dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments, including reactive and nervous dogs., • Strong understanding of dog behaviour and body language., • Reliable, punctual and professional., • Excellent communication and customer service skills., • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather. Desirable • Canine first aid qualification., • A full UK driving licence is not required initially but would be an advantage as the role grows. This position offers complete flexibility and operates on an ad-hoc, home-based layout. There are no fixed daily or weekly minimum hours required. The successful candidate will be added to our official Highfield Qualifications center profile as our designated Nominated Tutor for the Highfield Level 1 Award in Health and Safety within a Construction Environment (RQF). Because our training frameworks utilize fully remote e-learning structures combined with automated digital proctoring systems, this role does not require active classroom teaching, travel, or live lecturing. Instead, your primary focus will be maintaining our center’s regulatory standards and acting as an internal quality safety net.
