Based in Manchester, this role offers the chance to take a leading position in project delivery, working on complex schemes with real responsibility and autonomy. Key Responsibilities • Lead the production and coordination of detailed working drawing packages with minimal supervision, • Provide technical guidance on building regulations, environmental performance, and compliance requirements, • Advise on material selection, buildability, and construction detailing, • Ensure designs meet all relevant legal, statutory, and professional standards, • Carry out and contribute to Designer Risk Assessments in line with CDM regulations, • Coordinate design information across multidisciplinary teams and external consultants, • Liaise with statutory authorities and support planning and regulatory submissions, • Deliver projects using Revit and BIM Level 2 processes, including COBie data where required, • Programme work schedules and monitor progress throughout project stages, • Undertake site visits and inspections at key stages of construction, • Prepare technical reports, tender documentation, and recommendations, • Carry out measured surveys and maintain strong QA processes across project delivery, • Support a culture of collaboration, sharing knowledge and mentoring junior team members where appropriate Skills & Experience • Degree in Architectural Technology or relevant HNC/HND/BTEC qualification, • CIAT accredited or working towards chartership (or equivalent experience), • Minimum 8+ years’ experience within a UK architectural practice, • Strong track record in delivering technical packages and leading project stages, • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, with at least 3 years’ consistent use in practice, • Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction legislation, • Knowledge of current and emerging fire safety regulations, • Strong technical detailing and construction knowledge, • Excellent coordination and communication skills, • Ability to manage workload independently while contributing to a wider team, • High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset Benefits • Competitive salary, dependent on experience, • Hybrid working arrangement, • 25 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing with service), • Ongoing professional development and clear progression opportunities, • Paid professional memberships, • Private healthcare cash plan, • Life assurance and critical illness cover, • Discretionary bonus scheme, • Cycle to work scheme
