Are you an experienced Employee Relations specialist who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Do you have the confidence to influence stakeholders and drive fair, consistent people practices? Are you immediately available or able to commit to an initial 6-month contract with the potential for extension? MacGregor Black are partnering with a manufacturing business on the search for an ER Business Partner. This is a contract role based in Aylesbury, offering hybrid working, in an incredibly fast paced and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: • Act as the subject matter expert on all Employee Relations matters across the site, • Provide pragmatic, commercially focused ER advice to line managers and senior stakeholders, • Lead and manage complex ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance issues, • Support and coach managers to build capability and confidence in handling people matters, • Ensure policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation, • Partner with HR and operational teams to drive a positive employee relations climate, • Identify trends and risks within ER data, providing insights and recommendations, • Support change management initiatives, including restructures and organisational change, • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and policies What We're Looking For: • Proven experience in an ER-focused HR role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment, • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application, • Demonstrated experience handling high-volume and complex ER casework, • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, • Ability to work at pace and manage competing priorities, • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) preferred, • Available to start immediately or at short notice For more information, please contact Alice Redmond.
