Primary Role: The Ship's Cook or AB Cook reports to the Master and takes responsibility for catering on board the vessel, maintaining provision stores and Galley. Secondary Role: The Ships Cook or AB Cook is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the mooring operations on arrivals and departures, and any maintenance of the ship, as directed by the Master. Provide navigational watch keeping routines when required by the Master (only for Able Seaman certificate holders) ? Responsible for compliance with company regulations and to provide Emergency response duties as detailed in the ships Muster List. Who you are (requirements) ? Ships Cook - Preferably a recognized Cooks Qualification, Basic Food & Hygiene level 2 training, updated STCW95 certification, a valid ENG1 or equivalence seafarer medical fitness certificate ? AB Cook - AB certificate of competency, Basic Food & Hygiene level 2 training, updated STCW95 certification, a valid ENG1 or equivalence seafarer medical fitness certificate ? A working knowledge of garbage disposal and management in accordance with regulations. ?
