CNC Turner Connect 4 recruitment are hiring for an experienced Full Time CNC Turner/Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator required for busy engineering business. 11.30am-9.45pm Monday - Thursday Essential skills: - Experience with Fanuc controls. - Set & operate multi-axis CNC lathes. - Able to set CNC machinery un-assisted. (Training will be given on unfamiliar machines) - Able to read programs and make adjustments where required during the setting process. Advantageous skills but not essential: - Set & operate CNC milling machines. - Experience with 'Doosan Mills' Machinery. - Able to write programs for lathes off-line. - Experience with CAD/CAM. (OneCNC-XR9 Mill 3D Expert) - Experience of using a CMM. (Aberlink Axiom Too) - Experience operating/setting Citizen sliding heads. - Knowledge of 5S. - knowledge of SPC and use of control plans. Pay £30,000 - £34,000 dependent on experience. We work closely with a wide range of clients to develop and meet their demanding requirements. The work is very varied and interesting encompassing small and large precision component machining, tool making, pattern making and model making. We are looking for a dynamic and creative engineer to join our tight knit team. You will need to programme, set and run jobs on 3, 4 and 5 axis machines and own the process from start to finish. We use Autodesk Featurecam and Powermill so knowledge of this software would be an advantage. We run day shift only with overtime
