About the job Role: Sheet Metal Worker (Full-Time, On-Site – Feltham) We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker / Metal Fabricator to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone experienced in sheet metal fabrication, welding (desirable), and precision engineering. Website: Instagram: Role overview We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker / Metal Fabricator to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone experienced in sheet metal fabrication, welding (desirable), and precision engineering. Key Responsibilities • Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components to specification, • Operate machinery including press brakes, guillotines, punching machines, and corner notchers, • Interpret technical drawings and hand-drawn sketches, • Carry out TIG and MIG welding (desirable, but not essential), • Ensure all work meets quality control standards and engineering tolerances, • Maintain a safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations Skills & Experience • Proven experience in sheet metal work and metal fabrication, • Strong knowledge of bending and fabrication techniques, • Experience operating press brake, guillotine, CNC punch, or fabrication machinery, • Ability to read and interpret drawings, • (Desirable) Experience with TIG welding, MIG welding, and fabrication welding techniques, • Familiarity with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium fabrication, • High attention to detail and commitment to precision engineering, • Understanding of workshop safety, • Strong teamwork and communication skills, • (Desirable) Hands-on experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or engineering workshop environment Company Benefits • 30-minute lunch break, plus two 15-minute tea breaks, • 30 days’ holiday (including bank holidays), • Company pension scheme, • Supportive, close-knit team environment, • Opportunities for career progression within the company, • Hands-on experience working alongside qualified welders and metal fabricators, • Competitive salary
