Global Product Director COO (with dotted line to CEO) Overview A senior leadership opportunity for an experienced product professional to define and deliver a globally competitive travel portfolio. This role is accountable for driving revenue, margin, and customer growth through a high-quality, differentiated product offering. The Role You will own the strategy, performance, and evolution of the global product portfolio and supplier ecosystem. Operating at an executive level, you’ll balance long-term direction with short-term performance, ensuring the product supports commercial success and market competitiveness. Key Responsibilities: • Lead global product strategy and portfolio direction, • Own commercial performance, including revenue, margin, and cost control, • Drive product quality, differentiation, and customer experience standards, • Develop and manage a high-performing supplier network, • Build scalable operating models, processes, and governance, • Use data and technology to inform decision-making and enable growth, • Partner cross-functionally to align product with wider business strategy Key Focus Areas: • Portfolio optimisation and lifecycle management, • Margin improvement and cost efficiency, • Product-led competitive positioning, • Supplier performance and strategic alignment, • Continuous improvement and innovation Experience Required • Proven leadership in product strategy and portfolio management within a multi-market environment, • Strong commercial track record delivering revenue and margin growth, • Experience building scalable operating models and capabilities, • Ability to influence at senior/executive level, • Demonstrated success leading transformation and change Desirable • Experience in travel, tours, or similar sectors, • Exposure to technology-led transformation, • Experience developing supplier or sourcing strategies This is a high-impact leadership role suited to someone who can combine strategic thinking with commercial delivery to build a best-in-class product offering.
