Civils Working Supervisor – Energy Infrastructure £43,680 - £48,048 + van + overtime Location: North West / Yorkshire / Midlands / North Wales Working Pattern: Monday–Friday, away from home Our client is growing fast. Now NERS Tier 1 Civils accredited, expanding to four full civils gangs in 2026 and onboarding new clients across the North West, Yorkshire, Midlands and North Wales, they’re looking for experienced Civils Working Supervisors / Team Leaders to join the team. This is a hands-on role for someone who can lead a small civils gang, keep work moving to programme and maintain high standards of safety, quality and compliance. The Role of the Civils Working Supervisor You’ll lead a 2–3 operative civils gang delivering groundworks and cable civils across energy infrastructure projects, including: • EV infrastructure, • BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), • Solar projects, • HV/LV cable civils, • Excavation and duct installation, • HV/LV containment, • Concrete plinths, kerbs and chambers, • Reinstatement works, • As-laid drawings and site records, • Daily reports and digital compliance You’ll be responsible for running the site day-to-day, keeping your team productive and ensuring the work is delivered safely, correctly and to programme. What We’re Looking For You’ll need: 3+ years’ experience leading civils / groundworks gangs Valid CSCS card CAT & Genny qualification/experience NRSWA / Streetworks Full UK driving licence Comfortable working away from home Monday–Friday The following would be advantageous: • SSSTS or SMSTS, • NPORS / CPCS – 360, dumper or roller, • SHEA Power, • Slinger/signaller, • First Aid What they Offer • Competitive hourly base rate, • Overtime: weekends x1.5 / nights x2, • Accommodation covered, • Travel and working-away allowance, • Company vehicle for suitable candidates, • Performance bonus, • Pension, • Genuine progression opportunities as the business continues to scale, • Direct employment – no agency and no umbrella They run proper kit, straight-talking management and a full order book.
