Electrical Commissioning & Maintenance Engineer Location: South Wales Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 (DOE) + benefits About the Role A leading UK company in the design, manufacture, installation, and servicing of pumping equipment is seeking a dynamic and motivated Electrical Commissioning & Maintenance Engineer to join its external site teams. This is a varied and hands-on role, working alongside mechanical engineers to install, commission, and service pumping equipment across multiple sites. The position offers national exposure while remaining regionally focused. Key Responsibilities • Attend sites primarily across Wales and South West England, • Carry out electrical work to support mechanical installations, • Assist with after-sales service and breakdown support when required, • Travel and stay away from home when necessary (minimised where possible), • Maintain and improve company procedures, • Complete site reports and obtain customer sign-off after each visit, • Submit reports and timesheets promptly, • Represent the business professionally, promoting products and services, • Ensure tools and materials are prepared before attending site, • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers at all levels, • Manage petty cash and company credit card responsibly, • Identify personal training and development needs, • Follow all health and safety policies and procedures, • General knowledge of the engineering or pumping industry (desirable), • Experience in a similar role or maintenance environment, • Experience with motors and/or pumps (desirable), • Strong written and verbal communication skills, • City & Guilds Level 3 – Inspection & Testing (initial and periodic), • Electrical qualification to 17th or 18th Edition (BS7671), • Confined Space Training (desirable), • First Aid Certification (desirable) "SER-IN"
