Job Title: Care and Support Worker (Part time) Just like traditional care services, the person selected for this position will be responsible for caring for the health and well-being of someone who needs companionship, home help or personal care tasks and activities which may have been caused by an operation, injury, mobility or memory issues, illness, or chronic conditions that make everyday chores more challenging. You will crucially, support our clients do more of what matters to them. You will encourage our clients to think differently about ways that they may want to be supported or make changes in their life. This may include self-care, technology, aids and adaptations, support from family, friends, being part of what is happening in the community, services and paid support. Working Conditions Community based role, providing care in the community to individuals in the comfort of their own home or sheltered housing accommodation.
Duties: Perform a variety of nail services, including manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, and nail art. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work area and tools in accordance with health and safety regulations. Consult with clients to understand their preferences and provide tailored services. Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and beauty treatments. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client needs promptly. Communicate effectively with clients regarding aftercare advice and product recommendations. Assist in promoting salon products and services to enhance client satisfaction. Responsibilities: Perform professional manicures and pedicures, including gel and BIAB treatments. Shape nails, provide cuticle care, and offer high-quality nail art designs. Keep up to date with current nail trends, techniques, and industry standards. Ensure all treatments are performed to the highest level of hygiene and precision. Customer Service & Client Care Provide a welcoming and luxurious experience for clients. Advise clients on nail care, treatments, and suitable products. Build and maintain positive client relationships, ensuring repeat business and referrals. Experience Previous experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory. Customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English would be beneficial. A passion for beauty, nails, and providing an exceptional client experience is essential.
