DV Cleared Deputy System Manager (EWOStoMC) Lincoln – RAF Waddington Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week | 4 day working week Monday to Thursday | Fixed Term with possibility to extend Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 About the Role Lockheed Martin (LM) Canada provides Electronic Warfare Operation Support for the United Kingdom Royal Navy Radar Electronic Surveillance Measurement (RESM) systems under the Electronic Warfare Operational Support to the Maritime Capability (EWOStoMC) program. The EWOStoMC solution provides the capability to maintain a Database populated with Platforms, Mounts, and Emitters of Maritime Interest. The EWOStoMC solution extends this capability to produce Mission Dependant Datasets (MDDs) outputs for Royal Navy RESM systems. The EWOStoMC software application, EWOS2MC2, is defined by the EWOStoMC System Requirements Specification. The Program employs a team situated on-site at the Maritime Equipment Section (MES) within the Joint Electronic Warfare Centre (JEWOSC) at Royal Air Force (RAF) Waddington, Lincoln. If successful, the Candidate will work within the on-site LM Team providing daily support to the MES for the production of MDDs. The majority of work is conducted within the EWOS2MC2 application. Expected to work under very limited supervision and apply their knowledge of Electronic Warfare Mission Data Support along with computer and database systems in the performance of their duties and be responsible for ensuring standards are met by the application of appropriate processes, procedures, and tools. This role is for a fixed term position initially until November 2026 with the possibility of an extension of up to 3 years. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Development of innovative solutions to a range of complex problems, that are consistent with organisational objectives., • Active contribution to the development of new concepts whilst possessing full knowledge of industry and company practices, demonstrating expertise in the field and related disciplines., • Guides major projects to completion and may function in leadership role. Decisions are long-lasting and heavily influences the organisation. Engages with senior personnel on significant matters., • Support to the MDD outputs for Royal Navy Radar RESM systems, • Maintenance of the Master Maritime Electronic Warfare Database (MEWDB), • Radar data analysis as part of the MEWDB population and data validation, • Quality assurance of data as part of the MEWDB population and data validation, • EWOS2MC2 MEWDB Oracle 19 database backup and recovery, • User Management using EWOS2MC2, • Quality assurance of data and mission data products, • Providing on-site training both formal and on the job, • Support to the Royal Navy EWOStoMC Users, • EWOStoMC On-site Security Manager, • Support the EWOStoMC System Manager, • Management of’ the LM on site personnel, • Liaison with both LM UK and LM Canada management, • Liaison with LM Canada program management and technical lead/support Required skills, qualifications and experience: • DV Security Clearance, • 5+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline., • Experience of working with the MOD, • Royal Navy RESM equipment knowledge, • Royal Navy RESM equipment reprogramming and Mission Data support experience., • Familiarity with working with Oracle databases, • Familiarity with software development and testing, • MS Office programming Lockheed Martin is committed to upholding principles of equal opportunity, fostering a work environment that is aligned with our core values of integrity, respect, and exceptional performance.
