We’re on the lookout for a kind, confident Senior Care Assistant to join a friendly, well-established care team in a residential home setting. This is a hands-on Clinical Senior Care Assistant role for someone who leads by example, keeps standards high, and can support a team to deliver safe, consistent, person-centred care. You will be a key figure on shift, helping the home run smoothly day-to-day while ensuring care is delivered in line with CQC expectations. Shift pattern and contract for a Clinical Senior Care Assistant Nights: 8pm to 8am Day: 8am to 8pm 12-hour shifts on a rota basis Alternate weekend availability required Your Duties and Tasks for a Clinical Senior Care Assistant • Lead and support the care team on shift, ensuring high standards of care are maintained at all times., • Oversee day-to-day delivery of care, ensuring staff follow best practice and CQC guidelines., • as a Clinical Senior Care Assistant Provide guidance, supervision, and support to less experienced staff to help them develop and contribute confidently., • Deliver exceptional, compassionate care to residents, ensuring dignity, respect, and person-centred support at all times., • Maintain clear communication with colleagues and ensure accurate written records, handovers, and care documentation., • Stay calm, organised, and solutions-focused when shifts are busy or challenging., • our chosen Clinical Senior Care Assistant will work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for residents. What We’re Searching For in a Clinical Senior Care Assistant • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (essential)., • Experience working within an elderly care setting (care/nursing home experience preferred)., • Previous supervisory experience within a care setting, or the confidence to step into a shift-leading role., • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with a caring and respectful approach., • Self-motivated, resilient, and well organised., • Dependable, flexible, and able to work well under pressure., • A team player who can also use their own initiative.
