A critical data analytics role within Oversight Governance, providing high-quality analytical and operational support across core market oversight committees, including the Capital & Planning Group (CPG), Market Oversight Group (MOG) and the Business Oversight Committee (BOC). Working closely with colleagues across the Corporation, particularly data, IT and oversight teams with aim to maintain accurate datasets, streamline tooling, strengthen governance processes, and support the design of a reliable single source of truth for market oversight. Key Accountabilities: • Responsible for collecting, analysing and interpreting quantitative and qualitative MI to support oversight processes, working independently to prepare high-quality insight materials that highlight relevant trends, issues and observations for senior colleagues and governance audiences., • Support the Senior Manager in data quality, validation and stewardship activities across OG, working off own initiative to ensure the accuracy and integrity of datasets, maintaining good data hygiene and contributing to Lloyd's broader data governance requirements., • Assist in developing business requirements and benefit cases for enhancements to OG tools, systems and processes taking ownership of documenting these requirements whilst ensuring they are, robust, aligned with business logic, well-structured, and reflective of stakeholder expectations and cross-team dependencies., • Support the day-to-day operation, use and maintenance of OG tools and systems (including SharePoint, QlikSense, Power BI, Excel and automated processes) as well acting as an active user of these tools while also coordinating access, resolving issues and helping to ensure they run reliably and in line with operational expectations., • Work off own initiative to engage with IT and data teams to drive the progress development sprints, follow up on technical actions, assist with impact assessments and contribute to the prioritisation and refinement of enhancement requests., • Responsible for owning and conducting the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process for new and updated tools, dashboards and automated processes, identifying defects, validating logic end-to-end, and supporting the creation and maintenance of user guides and operational documentation., • Ownership and Accountability for workflow tools, trackers and dashboards that monitor OG activities, working off own initiative to develop, enhance and maintain existing tools, ensuring SLAs, timelines and internal process requirements are accurately tracked, interpreted and acted upon, enabling timely escalation and continuous improvement., • Assist in the design and production of accurate financial, operational and regulatory reporting for oversight committees and governance stakeholders, ensuring outputs are reliable, well-structured and based on approved datasets., • Provide coordination support for stakeholder engagement and meetings, taking responsibility for scheduling sessions, organising documentation, preparing materials and ensuring information is shared effectively with governance audiences.Skills, • Build effective relationships, supported by a flexible and "willing to help attitude"., • Excellent organisational skills, balancing competing demands and to plan/ prioritise accordingly, ensuring that deadlines are met., • Collate, analyse and interpret management information, and present information with impact so that it can be easily understood., • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, in particular - Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Including the ability to read, write and update Macros., • Experience with QlikSense, PowerBI or similar., • An ability to assess technical operational processes and both identify and mitigate key risk areas and support ongoing improvement., • Problem solve and make good decisions., • Deliver change management and implementation of new processes and systems., • Resilience in shaping/ pursuing solutions that will deliver required results.Knowledge, • Awareness of Lloyd's and London market practices, operations and financial structure., • Knowledge of operational processes and understanding of oversight controls and governance., • Understanding of the commercial re/insurance market, insurance company functions, process and risk management, • Understanding of business process and systems change tools and good practice principles.Experience, • Process design, improvement and operation., • Developing cross-functional frameworks and processes., • Working collaboratively within a team and with stakeholders., • Relevant insurance/ reinsurance industry experience required., • Understanding of data governance, structures and stewardship., • Data and analytics knowledge and proven track record of delivering products utilising these skills., • Ability to implement new processes and systems., • Experience of implementing new processes and systems, sourcing technology solutions and developing/implementing systems and technology solutions., • Highly organised and able to manage projects and ad-hoc work in parallel., • A creative thinker, able to deal with complex problems and develop innovative solutions.Diversity and inclusion are a focus for us - Lloyd's aim is to build a diverse, inclusive environment that reflects the global markets we work in.
