    Groomer London is a busy Ukrainian-owned dog and cat grooming salon in Kensington, and we are looking for a friendly, confident and reliable receptionist to join our team. This is a customer-facing role, so we need someone who is comfortable communicating with clients in person, over the phone and through messages. The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive and able to stay calm in a busy salon environment.     Job Summary Waking Night Support worker / Carer to join a lovely team around a friendly 19 year old teenager who has epilepsy, non verbal autism, movement disorder and additional health needs. He lives at home with his family and friendly dog. Training rate will be £16 and after training this will increase to £17. This is a self-employed position (UTR number required). Minimum of 26 hours per week. Please read complete ad before applying. About the position Weekly hours minimum 26 hours We are looking for someone to take on 2 regular waking nights (13hr each night shift so in total 26 hours) ideally Thursday and Friday nights (but please let us know which nights work for you and we can then consider). These are strictly waking nights in the family home. More weekly hours are possible often but not less hours. This position could become a full time position after the summer if this would suit you. His environment will need to be kept clean and tidy (it is not a cleaner position but to ensure that his environment stays tidy, safe and fit for purpose). You will help with his laundry too. We would prefer someone to work on a self-employed basis with a UTR number (not cash in hand). It is exactly 26 hours minimum per week. We hope to find someone who has specific interest in special needs. It is not a summer job but we hope to find someone to commit for a minimum of 12months. That's why we would prefer someone who has studied or will study a related subject eg Psychology, nursing or similar health related. One would need to be strong and fit to support and keep safe someone with a movement disorder. The suitable applicant would be flexible and be able to take on extra shifts from time to time. You would often work together with other team members at the beginning or end of your shift (eg for bath time). Day shifts might available too on occasion if you are interested. This position could offer full time hours from the autumn. You should be responsible, cheerful, honest and very reliable and physically strong and healthy. You will be trained by members of the experienced team in all of his health needs but also the principles of ABA - a behaviour therapy. You will need to attend some of the team meetings too.
