1:1 SEN Tutors needed in Staffordshire\nQualified Teacher (QTS) | Ages 3-18 | Flexible Hours within 8am-4pm (dependant on student needs)\n\nAre you a compassionate and skilled teacher with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs?\n\nWe're looking for experienced 1:1 SEN Tutors to join our growing team in Stoke-on-Trent, working with children and young people aged 3 to 18 with various additional needs and disabilities. This role is ideal for teachers who want to make a real difference through personalised, impactful education and help students with SEN needs to progress into adult life successfully.\n\nThe right candidate will be able to:\nProvide individualised support to students with a variety of SEN, including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties, and complex needs.\n\nWork with students both in school and in alternative settings (e.g., at home or in the community), depending on the individual needs of each learner.\n\nPlan, prepare, and deliver your own lessons, tailored to each student's goals, abilities, and learning style.\n\nHours are flexible but must fall within school hours (8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday).\n\nEssential Requirements:\nQualified Teacher Status (QTS)\n\nExperience working with students with SEN\n\nConfidence in designing and delivering bespoke lesson plans\n\nAbility to build positive, trusting relationships with learners and families\n\nStrong communication and organisational skills\n\nAdaptable, empathetic, and child-centred approach\n\nAble to work autonomously and record all progress consistently and honestly\n\n📍 Location:\nStaffordshire and surrounding areas - applicants must be able to travel locally.\n\n💼 What We Offer:\nFlexible working to fit your schedule (within school hours)\n\nCompetitive pay rates\n\nA chance to make meaningful progress with learners on a 1:1 basis\n\nSupportive team environment and opportunities for CPD\n\nIf you're a creative, nurturing professional who thrives on seeing students grow in confidence and independence, we'd love to hear from you!\n\nAspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
