Location: Chiswick/Clapham Role: As Electrical Project Manager, you will lead and deliver the electrical elements of commercial fit-out projects (shell & core, CAT A/B, occupied refurbishments) from tender stage through to completion. Working collaboratively with internal design, procurement, and site teams, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities • Lead the electrical scope (LV distribution, containment, lighting, small power, fire alarm, and data systems) across multiple fit-out schemes (£1M–£4M) concurrently., • Oversee the full project lifecycle: feasibility/tender support → design coordination → procurement → construction supervision → commissioning/handover., • Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets, risk registers, and resource plans, ensuring clear visibility of deliverables., • Manage subcontractors and suppliers for electrical works: scope definition, appointment, performance monitoring, and quality control., • Interface with MEP design and mechanical teams to ensure integrated delivery and coordinate with other disciplines and main contractors/developers., • Provide regular progress reports (weekly or as required) to the Contracts Director, highlighting cost status, change control, and risk mitigation., • Ensure strict compliance with health & safety, quality management systems, BIM/CAD modelling requirements, and client governance protocols., • Attend client, design team, and main contractor meetings, representing the electrical delivery team and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships., • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, value engineering, and best-practice electrical installation. Candidate Profile • Minimum 2-5 years’ project management experience within electrical (MEP) fit-out or refurbishment projects (commercial)., • Strong knowledge of electrical building services (LV systems, lighting, power, fire alarms, controls) and their installation in fit-out/occupied environments., • Excellent contract management and commercial awareness: ability to manage budgets, change control, risk, and value engineering., • Experience managing subcontractors and suppliers, with good command of procurement and site supervision, • Proficiency in project management tools, progress reporting, and stakeholder engagement (clients, designers, main contractors)., • Strong communication and leadership skills; professional and influential at all levels., • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment., • Qualification: Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Building Services Engineering, or trade qualified as an Electrician with proven management experience.
