Senior Support Worker – Children’s Residential Location: Lancaster Salary: £41,346 (includes average of 8 sleep-ins per month) Extraordinary Days, Every Day Children’s Residential, this isn’t just a job it’s a chance to shape futures. What You’ll Be Doing • Supporting young people with daily routines (school prep, meals, activities), • Supervising and mentoring a team of support workers, • Ensuring the highest standards of care and support, • Promoting individuality — no “one size fits all” approach, • Monitoring care plans and producing reports for management, • Providing emotional support and building meaningful relationships, • Creating a warm, homely environment (including light housekeeping), • Planning and participating in activities like park trips, movie nights, and creative projects, • Accurately updating records using electronic care systems (Clearcare experience beneficial but not essential)home is built on:, • Respect, • Support, • Growth You will have: • Minimum 1 year experience in a children’s residential setting, • Level 3 qualification in Children’s Residential Care, • A full UK manual driving licence, • Experience supporting or mentoring team members, • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), • Competitive salary with excellent sleep-in payments, • £500 welcome bonus after successful probation, • £1,000 refer-a-friend scheme, • Ongoing training and career progression opportunities, • Enhanced DBS paid for by the company This is more than a job it’s your opportunity to change lives, one extraordinary day at a time.
