About the Role We are currently seeking a motivated Head Chef to support our management team in leading our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be excited by food, love the creativity of being a chef and want to put their own ideas into the menus. As our Head Chef you will bring us fresh energy, new ideas and be an integral part of our hospitality family. You will report to the General Manager who you will support in looking after stocks, ordering and costings. Responsibilities: · Manage the daily operations of the kitchen and supervise the kitchen staff · Ensure the reaching target GPs, recording and reducing wastage · Ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards · Develop and refine menus to ensure that they are current and competitive · Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness · Comply with all health and safety regulations · Train and develop kitchen staff to maintain high standards and improve their skills · Control food cost by minimizing waste and utilizing proper portion control · Coordinate with the bar and event team to ensure that food service runs smoothly at all times Requirements: At least 1 years of experience in a similar role Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to develop and motivate a team A creative approach to menu development Company Benefits · 50% on food and drinks · Staff meal and drink · Company annual parties · Training plan · Tronc system · Incentive scheme · Field trips and company events
