Location: Head Office Department: Wholesale Reports To: Head of Merchandising & Buying Role Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Head Office team; we’re looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Buying Admin Assistant to support our Buyer and wider Buying & Merchandising team across all categories. This role is ideal for someone who already has a strong grounding in the buying function and is confident in the day-to-day processes that support successful product delivery, trading, and range development. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the buying function, taking ownership of core admin responsibilities while supporting the Buyer with reporting, supplier communication, and range administration. Key Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive day-to-day administrative support to the Buyer and wider B&M team, • Confidently raise, manage, and maintain purchase orders, owning all related product and PO data to ensure system accuracy and adherence to critical path deadlines, • Liaise directly with suppliers to track orders, manage delivery updates, and resolve queries, • Work closely with internal departments including Merchandising, Design, Marketing, and Production to support the buying process end to end, • Support trade reporting, including sales performance, bestsellers, stock levels, and intake analysis, • Produce regular and ad hoc reports to support buying decisions and trading actions, • Conduct competitor, market, and trend research to inform product development and future ranges, • Support range planning activities, including line list updates and preparation for sign-off meetings, • Work closely with the Design and Garment Tech team on sample management, • Assist with showroom preparation for internal meetings, reviews, and range sign-offs, • Act as a knowledgeable point of contact within the admin function What We’re Looking For: • Previous experience in a Buying Admin Assistant or similar buying support role, ideally within fashion or retail, • A solid understanding of the buying process, critical path, and product lifecycle, • Confident working with purchase orders, supplier communication, and internal systems, • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and time management, • Strong numeracy skills and confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, • Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal, • Ability to work in a fast-paced, reactive environment with multiple deadlines, • Proactive, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to work independently, • A strong understanding of The Couture Club brand, product, and customer Contract: Full-time, Permanent Location: Manchester Head Office Department: Buying Benefits: • 25 days holiday + bank holidays, • Company bonus scheme, • Staff discount, • Company pension plan, • Flexible working hours, • Free on-site parking, • Birthday Day Off
