Job Package : Up to £125,000 + Pension + Bonus + Medical A highly respected Building Contractor and Development business is seeking an experienced Commercial Director to join its senior leadership team. This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial strategy of a market‑leading organisation, headquartered in Glasgow and recognised for its innovative approach to sustainable property, asset management, and customer experience. Our client is a long‑established, Scottish headquartered group with an impressive and diverse portfolio across commercial property, workspace solutions, and associated services. The business is continuing to expand its market presence and is now looking to appoint a Commercial Director who will drive commercial performance, strengthen strategic partnerships, and support long‑term growth objectives. As Commercial Director, you will be responsible for leading the commercial function across the group, ensuring the effective management of commercial contracts, pricing strategy, and commercial governance. You will act as a key advisor to the Executive Team, providing robust commercial insight and driving commercial value across existing and new ventures. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and executing the group’s commercial strategy, • Leading commercial negotiations, contract management and partnership agreements, • Identifying and evaluating new revenue opportunities, • Enhancing commercial processes, governance and risk management, • Providing strategic commercial input to major development and investment projects, • Leading, mentoring and developing a high‑performing commercial team The successful candidate will demonstrate: • Proven experience in a senior commercial leadership role, • Strong contract and negotiation experience, • Strategic and analytical mindset, • Ability to influence at Executive and Board level, • Experience in property, development, asset management, or a comparable commercial environment, • Salary up to £125,000, • Performance‑based bonus, • Company pension scheme, • Private medical cover, • Opportunity to shape commercial strategy for a respected and forward‑thinking organisation
