We are currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Analyst – Manufacturing on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded manufacturing business based in Clevedon (hybrid working). This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or highly experienced manufacturing finance professional to join a progressive organisation and play a key role in supporting operational performance across manufacturing and engineering functions. The Role Reporting into the Product Company Controller, you will act as a key finance business partner to Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations teams, providing high-quality insight, analysis and commercial support to drive performance. Key responsibilities include: • Acting as a trusted finance partner to Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations managers, • Providing detailed insight into operational performance, including cost drivers, material usage, labour efficiency, waste and overheads, • Supporting the preparation of monthly manufacturing P&L reporting, with detailed variance analysis (labour, overheads, materials, yield and scrap), • Producing ad-hoc financial and operational analysis for senior stakeholders, • Maintaining strong control over inventory valuation, stock accuracy and provisioning, • Analysing production order variances, including purchase price variances (PPV), labour and overhead absorption variances, and monitoring WIP levels, • Creating and maintaining routine SAP reports for operational stakeholders, • Reviewing internal controls and supporting internal, external and compliance audits, • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and engineering processes Candidate Profile Our client is keen to speak with candidates who bring strong manufacturing finance experience and a proactive business partnering mindset.
