General Manager - Greenwich, London Position Overview The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the gym, ensuring exceptional member experience, driving membership growth, and leading a high-performing team. This role requires strong leadership, business management skills, and a passion for fitness. Key Responsibilities Operations & Facility Management • Oversee daily gym operations to ensure cleanliness, safety, and equipment functionality., • Manage schedules, staffing levels, and day-to-day workflows., • Maintain high levels of member satisfaction and promptly address concerns., • Foster a welcoming, community-focused environment., • Develop and execute membership sales goals, promotions, and marketing strategies., • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and create action plans to meet targets., • Recruit, hire, train, and mentor staff, front desk, and support teams., • Lead staff meetings and performance evaluations., • Inventory and supply orders., • Maintain accurate records and reporting., • 3+ years of management experience (fitness industry preferred)., • Strong leadership and communication skills., • Proven sales and customer service experience., • Ability to multitask and work independently., • CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
