Assistant Director - Funding and MIS HRUC (Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge Colleges) is an ambitious College Group, which brings together three colleges across five vibrant campuses. The Assistant Director for Funding and MIS is a new and exciting leadership role at HRUC, created to strengthen the College’s capacity to delivery high quality management information and support its ambitious strategic goals. You will play a key role in shaping the future of MIS at HRUC, working closely with the Director of MIS, Managers within the MIS team and senior leaders to inform strategic decision making. We are seeking an individual with a strong understanding of FE sector funding methodologies, MIS systems, and operational processes, alongside proven leadership and the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes in a complex environment. Responsibilities will include: • Supporting the Director of MIS in the strategic leadership and continuous improvement of the College’s MIS function, • Supporting and providing leadership to teams responsible for Examinations, Funding and ILR, Planning, Timetabling, Admissions and Data and Reporting, • Developing and implementing strategies to maximise funding income, including effective curriculum planning and monitoring of funding performance, • Significant experience in a senior MIS role within the FE or education sector, with a thorough understanding of management information systems in an academic setting, • Line management experience, leading teams of technical and administrative staff, • Experience in producing accurate, insightful reports to inform decision-making at a senior level, • Strong knowledge of Examinations processes, including awarding body and JCQ requirements Please note, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
