Warehouse key responsibilities: To prepare orders: This includes the accurate picking of products and inspection (best before date and packaging condition); Packing of the goods after checking; To ensure that packages are correctly handled and stored to avoid damage; Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks and shelves Management and maintaining a healthy level of raw materials, asking the warehouse manager for more whenever needed To be aware of and to follow all safety guidelines To assist in other duties as reasonably requested Skills needed as a Warehouse Operative Good organisational skills Ability to meet the physical demands of the job Attention to detail Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks Basic computer literacy particularly Excel and Word, Internet and e-mail Fluency in Portuguese and basic knowledge in English (at least to be able to read English product picking list)

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver / Removals Professional to join our friendly and hardworking team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to delivering a professional, high-quality service to customers. The Role As a Class 2 HGV Driver / Removals Porter, you will combine professional driving responsibilities with hands-on removals and porter duties. Your responsibilities will include: • Acting as a professional and friendly point of contact for customers., • Keeping customers informed throughout the removal process., • Driving 18-tonne, 12-tonne, 7.5-tonne and 3.5-tonne vehicles between warehouses and customer locations., • Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring vehicles are clean, fuelled, roadworthy and legally parked., • Complying with all relevant driving laws, regulations and restrictions., • Safely loading, unloading, handling and transporting customer goods., • Working efficiently as part of a removals team., • Planning moves and deliveries carefully to ensure a smooth and professional service., • Providing excellent customer service at all times., • Following company policies and procedures relating to driver, vehicle and workplace safety., • Carrying out general removals and porter duties as required. About You We are looking for someone who is experienced, reliable, professional, physically fit and customer-focused. You must have: • At least 3 years' experience in the removals industry., • At least 2 years' goods vehicle driving experience., • A valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence., • A valid Digital Tachograph Card., • A valid Driver CPC., • A clean driving licence; minor infringements may be considered., • Good spoken English and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues., • A polite, presentable and professional manner., • A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team., • The ability to carry out physically demanding removals work safely and efficiently. Working Pattern • Full-time, permanent position., • Approximately 80% local work / 20% UK-wide work., • 6 days one week and 5 days the next, subject to legal driving and working-time requirements., • Overtime opportunities available. Ability to work Night shift and Morning shift as per Rota including swapping shifts as needed., 2. Collect goods from a manufacturer or warehouse and Distribute to our Branches., 3. Plan the delivery route in the most efficient way and follow rota., 4. Load the vehicle in a way that ensures that the planned route matches the order of deliveries., 5. Contact recipients of the delivery while en-route to ensure their presence., 6. Update the tracking system regularly so that customers know when their items will be delivered., 7. Record daily, weekly mileage as well as fuel usage., 8. Make deliveries, share any associated invoice with recipients and get customers’ signatures., 9. Update delivery records and return undelivered items., 10. Carrying out multi drop deliveries to our customers in a safe and timely manner., 11. Adhering to all legislative requirements., 12. Can lift and carry heavy and Light boxes. You would be required to load your vehicle., 13. Sweep out crates, tidy up packing area and clean out van after deliveries.
