Paid Media Manager – Manchester My client is looking for an experienced Paid Media Manager to join their growing in-house digital team. Working closely with the Head of Digital Marketing, you’ll take full ownership of paid media activity, managing performance across key channels and driving measurable commercial impact. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role suited to someone who has owned paid media accounts client-side (or in a dedicated in-house capacity) and is comfortable making autonomous, data-led decisions. You’ll be responsible for performance, optimisation, reporting and continuous improvement, with a strong emphasis on analysis, ROI and business outcomes. You will: • Own the end-to-end planning, execution and optimisation of paid media campaigns across Search, Display, Paid Social and Video, • Manage campaigns with a clear focus on KPIs, efficiency, revenue growth and customer acquisition, • Analyse performance data to identify opportunities, troubleshoot issues and drive continuous optimisation, • Produce clear, commercially focused reporting and insights for senior stakeholders, • Work closely with the Head of Digital Marketing to align paid media activity with wider business objectives, • Apply a structured test-and-learn approach across audiences, formats, bidding strategies and landing pages, • Brief and collaborate with internal design teams where needed, ensuring creative supports performance goals, • Take full ownership of weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting The ideal candidate will: • Have 3+ years’ experience managing paid media campaigns across platforms including:, • Google Ads (Search & Display), GDN, Meta Ads, Microsoft Advertising, YouTube Ads, TikTok Ads and programmatic DSPs, • Have experience owning and managing paid media activity for a single business or core account, with accountability for results, • Be highly analytical, confident working with performance data, and comfortable making decisions independently, • Be proficient with tools such as Google Ads Editor, SA360, Meta Events Manager, Google Tag Manager and Looker Studio, • Have a strong understanding of attribution, tracking and performance measurement, • Be commercially minded, with the ability to translate data into clear business insight, • Be detail-oriented, organised and comfortable working at pace, • Have a proactive mindset and the ability to “hit the ground running” with minimal hand-holding Key Skills & Experience • Proven experience planning, executing and optimising paid media activity end-to-end, • Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with confidence interpreting performance data, • Experience producing accurate, actionable MI aligned to business KPIs, • Hands-on experience with automation, rules-based optimisation and audience strategies, • Up-to-date knowledge of paid media platforms, best practices and industry changes Benefits Package • Hapi benefits programme (discounts at supermarkets, cinemas and major retailers), • Free parking, • Employee Assistance Programme Interested?
