Your role will give you real variety, from the technical to the strategic, including: • Advising on all aspects of planning law including applications, appeals, enforcement, and judicial review, • Drafting and negotiating Section 106 agreements, unilateral undertakings, and complex planning obligations, • Working on high-value residential, commercial, and mixed-use development schemes, as well as niche projects in retirement living, leisure, ports, and marinas, • Advising on hot-topic issues such as biodiversity net gain, nutrient neutrality, and climate adaptation obligations, • Supporting developers, land promoters, and local authorities with practical, commercially focused solutions, • Building relationships with planners, consultants, and environmental experts, becoming a trusted advisor in the process What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone with solid planning law experience who’s ready to take on more responsibility and exposure. Specifically: • A qualified solicitor with 3+ PQE, • Strong drafting skills, particularly with Section 106 agreements and planning obligations, • Excellent communication and the confidence to engage directly with clients and stakeholders, • A proactive, commercially aware mindset, able to provide not just legal advice but practical solutions Why This Role?
