Business Development Director – Crypto & Web3 Location: Flexible (US or EU preferred) Sector: Crypto / Web3 / FinTech Function: Sales & Partnerships – Enterprise + High-Growth Crypto Firms About Us My client is a fast-growing fintech innovator powering the next generation of crypto and Web3 companies. Our technology enables digital asset businesses—exchanges, wallets, layer-1s, DeFi platforms, and institutional trading firms—to operate securely, efficiently, and at scale. As demand accelerates globally, we are expanding our commercial team and looking for a dynamic Business Development Director to drive growth and deepen our footprint within the crypto ecosystem. The Role You will own end-to-end growth across a portfolio of high-value crypto clients. This includes identifying new opportunities, engaging C-level decision-makers, and closing strategic deals with exchanges, protocols, infrastructure providers, and institutional digital asset players. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-moving, emerging markets and is deeply connected within the crypto and Web3 landscape. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy across key segments of the crypto industry, • Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to contract negotiation and close, • Build strong relationships with founders, CTOs, Heads of Trading, Risk, Compliance, and Business Operations in crypto organisations, • Identify partnership opportunities with exchanges, custodians, liquidity providers, and blockchain ecosystems, • Represent the company at crypto conferences, networking events, and industry forums, • Collaborate with Product and Marketing to align go-to-market initiatives with customer needs, • 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Partnerships within crypto, Web3, fintech, or digital assets, • Strong understanding of the crypto ecosystem (exchange operations, custody, blockchain infrastructure, DeFi, institutional crypto, etc.), • Proven track record closing high-value deals in a technical or emerging technology environment, • Exceptional relationship-building skills and established network within crypto/Web3, • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, • Competitive compensation package with uncapped commission potential, • Opportunity to influence the commercial strategy of a high-growth crypto-focused company, • Autonomy and ownership in a role that directly impacts revenue and market expansion, • Collaborative, mission-driven team shaping the future of digital assets
