Assistant Building Manager - 12 month contract \n Sheffield | Up to £32,000 + 10% Bonus + Excellent Benefits \n Not your typical Assistant Manager role. And definitely not a job where you'll spend your day sitting behind a desk. \n We're looking for a brilliant people-person and hands-on operator to help run a vibrant, premium residential building in the heart of Sheffield. \n Think hotel-style service, high-energy hospitality and slick building operations all rolled into one. \n You'll be part of an environment that's busy, social and full of personality - working with a young customer base, leading a customer-facing team and helping create an experience people genuinely love being part of. \n What does the job actually involve? \n Working alongside the Building Manager, you'll help take ownership of the entire day-to-day operation. \n That means: \n\n • Leading from the front and getting the best from your team\n, • Creating a genuinely brilliant resident experience\n, • Making sure the building looks, feels and operates at its best\n, • Getting involved in events, engagement and building community\n, • Managing the everyday challenges that come with a busy building\n, • Coordinating maintenance, contractors and facilities\n, • Keeping on top of Health & Safety, compliance and operational standards\n, • Solving problems, making decisions and getting things done\n\n It's just as much about people and experience as it is operations. \n Who are we looking for? \n Your background isn't the most important thing - your personality, leadership style and potential are. \n You could currently be a: \n Assistant Hotel Manager | Duty Manager | Front Office Manager | Assistant Store Manager | Deputy Manager | Hospitality Manager | Restaurant Manager | Leisure Manager | Customer Experience Manager \n We're looking for someone who's energetic, outgoing, organised and ambitious. \n Someone who talks to people rather than walks past them. \n Someone who gets stuck in rather than says "that's not my job." \n And someone who wants more than their next job - you want somewhere you can genuinely build a career. \n Why Make the Move? \n\n • Up to £32,000 basic salary\n, • 10% performance bonus\n, • Excellent benefits package\n, • Only 1 in 3 weekends\n, • Shifts of 7am-4pm / 9am-6pm / 12pm-9pm\n, • Fun, sociable and people-focused working environment\n, • Huge opportunity to learn about operations, facilities, service and building management\n\n This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious manager who has the energy, personality and drive to make an impact. \n If you're great with people, love being in the middle of the action and are a shrewd operator, then apply today and come and see what building management can actually look like.
