    Job Title Care Assistant (Domiciliary Care) Reports To Care Coordinator / Registered Manager Job Purpose To provide high-quality, person-centred care and support that enables people to remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes. Care Assistants will promote dignity, choice, respect, and independence while delivering care in accordance with individual care plans, company policies, and Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards. Key Responsibilities Personal Care • Assist with washing, bathing, showering, dressing and grooming., • Support with toileting and continence care., • Assist with mobility and safe transfers using appropriate equipment where required., • Promote independence by encouraging individuals to do as much as they are able. Medication Support • Administer or assist with medication in accordance with company policies and training., • Record all medication administered accurately., • Report any medication concerns or side effects immediately. Nutrition and Hydration • Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements., • Encourage adequate food and fluid intake., • Support individuals with eating and drinking where required.
