Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role, based over a 4 day working week - located in Stevenage, Hertfordshire for an Ombudsman Caseworker | Adjudicator. The role holder will be responsible for resolving disputes, mediating/conciliating/negotiating, adjudicating, preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, reviewing documents, assisting with dispute resolution processes and liaising with various stakeholders. The role holder will support our legal experts in ensuring compliance and accuracy in all matters. Package • Salary ranges £28k to £40k depending on qualifications and experience, • Best in class benefits including private medical cover and wellness package, • Exceptional work-life balance through a 4-day week (Mon-Thur or Tue to Fri), • Modern staff facilities with games room and quiet zones, staff and community events, • Company sponsored opportunities to obtain professional qualifications, • Ongoing L&D programmes with extensive accredited training Requirements • Candidates must have achieved a minimum a 2.1 Bachelor’s degree in Law (or equivalent gained via another route e.g. PGDL) plus completed or studying towards the BPTC/BVC/LPC/SQE or equivalent post-graduate qualification, • Experience gained in Alternative Dispute Resolution or complaint handling is an advantage, • Experience in law and legal document preparation and drafting, • Strong research and document review abilities, • Excellent communication and decision making skills, • Attention to detail and organisational skills, • Willingness to work on-site in Stevenage, Hertfordshire Read more about what our staff say about us
