🟦 Job Title: Community Care Assistant 📍 Location: Swansea 💷 Pay: £12.60 per hour + paid mileage 🕒 Flexible hours available (including school hours, evenings & weekends) About the Role Care Cymru Swansea is looking for kind, reliable and compassionate individuals to join our growing team of Community Care Assistants. You will be supporting vulnerable adults to live safely and independently in their own homes across Swansea. This role involves visiting individuals in the community and assisting with daily living tasks in accordance with their care plans. No previous care experience is required – full training and ongoing support will be provided. Responsibilities • Supporting with personal care, • Assisting with medication (following training), • Preparing meals and drinks, • Supporting with mobility and transfers, • Light household tasks, • Providing companionship and reassurance, • £12.60 per hour, • Paid mileage between calls, • Flexible shift patterns, • Full induction and training, • Ongoing supervision and support, • Career progression opportunities, • Refer a friend scheme, • A caring and respectful approach, • Good communication skills, • Reliability and professionalism, • A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred due to community work)
