Social Worker – Child Health and Disability (CHAD) Team Location: Bournemouth Rate: £40.90 per hour Contract: Ongoing / Long-Term About the Role We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join the Child Health and Disability (CHAD) Team in Bournemouth. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with disabilities and complex needs, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care, protection, and support. You will play a vital role in improving outcomes for children by working closely with families, health professionals, and education services. Key Responsibilities • Manage a caseload of children with disabilities and complex needs, • Undertake statutory assessments, care planning, and reviews, • Work in partnership with multi-agency teams including health and education, • Safeguard children and promote their wellbeing, • Support families with tailored interventions and support plans, • Prepare reports for meetings, panels, and court (where required) About You • Qualified Social Worker (Degree/DipSW/CQSW), • Registered with Social Work England, • Experience working within a Children with Disabilities or CHAD team, • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding frameworks, • Excellent communication and multi-agency working skills, • Ability to manage complex and sensitive cases effectively What’s on Offer • Competitive £40.90 per hour rate, • Flexible working options (where available), • Supportive and collaborative team environment, • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children with additional needs Apply Now If you are an experienced Social Worker with a passion for supporting children with disabilities, we want to hear from you
