Senior Residential Children’s Worker Location: Warrington, Cheshire Salary: Up to £34,400 per annum Hours: Permanent, full-time We are working in partnership with a provider of children’s services to recruit a Senior Residential Children’s Worker for their home in Warrington, Cheshire. You will be part of a dedicated team supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) within a nurturing residential environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive employer offering genuine career development and progression pathways, with the potential to move into a Deputy Manager position in the near future. Key responsibilities: • Lead shifts and ensure the welfare and safety of young people and staff at all times., • Participate in staff meetings and supervisions., • Support with staff performance and ensure the team are updated on procedural changes., • Deliver person-centred support in line with individual care plans., • Safeguard vulnerable children and report any concerns appropriately., • Liaise with parents, carers, and other professionals., • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism are maintained at all times., • Be flexible to cover other homes when required., • Commit to ongoing professional development and training. Requirements: • NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)., • Experience within the children’s residential care sector., • Strong leadership and communication skills.
