The Senior Leakage Inspector will provide advanced technical leakage support to the Area Leakage Team, taking responsibility for managing and resolving complex leakage issues using specialist techniques such as step testing, PZTs, integrity testing and meter accuracy validation. The role includes mentoring and training team members in support of their development plans, while also acting as operational support to the Area Team Leader and serving as a key point of contact in their absence, with responsibility for leading PEX and performance hubs when required. The postholder must communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation and with key stakeholders and will also be expected to support health and safety activities, including site visits and vehicle audits. As our Senior Leakage Inspector you will; Provide an advanced level of leakage investigation support to the Area Leakage Team, including self-generating workload by identifying problem DMAs through the effective use of corporate systems. Specialise in complex leakage activities such as DMA optimisation, step testing, zone integrity testing, pressure logging, correlating logger deployment and interpretation, and leak detection in problem DMAs. Lead meter exchange and maintenance activities across DMA, commercial and domestic meters, including logger and pulse unit installation and upkeep. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with service partners and key stakeholders across the business to drive efficient leakage reduction and minimise leak life. Support the Area Team Leader by deputising when required, assisting with performance activities, procurement of tools, equipment, PPE and clothing, and leading where appropriate. Take ownership of customer related issues and complaints, liaising with key contacts and service partners to see issues through to resolution. Ensure full compliance with health and safety requirements, including POWRA processes, personal safety device usage, vehicle inspections, H&S site visits, vehicle audits, and the creation and approval of WAND risk assessments. Act as a senior member of the leakage team by mentoring, training and upskilling colleagues, promoting cross team working with Field teams to enhance overall network knowledge. What skills & qualifications you will need: Passionate about delivering excellent customer service, with a strong commitment to meeting challenging performance targets safely and efficiently. Extensive knowledge of the water network, leakage techniques and technologies, with advanced capability in using and fault diagnosing leakage equipment. We're looking for a Senior BI Engineer to work along with our BI team in FinTech and Fashion Tech. We are currently reviewing whether to move from Databricks to Microsoft Fabric, so you should be comfortable working through a platform decision and the migration that may follow., Being Mentor to the BI Team • Support the BI team day to day, turning the strategy set by the Staff Engineering Lead into a plan the team can deliver against., • Support and mentor the other BI Engineers on both reports and the data side, through design reviews, pairing and code review., • Be the senior technical voice in the team. This is a hands on engineering leadership role. The teams we support run some of the highest volume, most process heavy operations in the business, from accounts payable, reconciliation and expenses in Finance, through to range planning, trading, stock and supplier data on the commercial side. There is real scope to take repetitive manual work off people, speed up decisions and give them their time back. This is a delivery role rather than a strategy one. ASOS has a central AI team who own our AI policy, framework, approved tooling and guardrails, and you won’t be setting that direction for the wider business. You’ll build for the teams we support within it, working closely with the central team and our AI centre of excellence to stay aligned. Senior Software Engineer (FinOps | Digital Foundation) We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our FinOps team in London. ASOS runs a large Azure estate behind a platform used by millions of customers, and every architectural decision made across our engineering teams has a cost attached to it. FinOps exists to make that cost visible, attributable and actionable - so teams can move fast without spend quietly compounding in the background. This is engineering, not reporting: the pipelines, tooling and guardrails you build are what give hundreds of ASOS engineers a clear view of what their services cost and what to do about it. At this level your ownership sits at the system and cross-team level. You will take ambiguous, high-impact problems, set the technical direction within them, and deliver to production with confidence. You will be a strong voice in architectural and cross-team decisions, working closely with the Engineering Lead, other Senior Engineers, and Finance to shape how ASOS understands and controls cloud cost. In this role, you will own significant parts of our FinOps platform end to end. You'll build the cost and usage data pipelines that everything else depends on, the allocation and showback models that tell teams what is theirs, and the guardrails that keep the estate tidy by default. Alongside that, you'll work directly with Product Delivery Teams on the optimisation work itself - right-sizing, commitment strategy, architectural change - and quantify the impact so the result is provable rather than claimed. This is a role for an engineer who finds cost a genuinely interesting engineering problem rather than an accounting one. The best cost saving is almost always the one an engineering team chooses to make, which means the job is as much about evidence, clarity and influence as it is about code. If you like building things that change how other engineers make decisions, this is the right role. The primary customers of this team are the Product Delivery Teams across ASOS, and the measure of success is not whether we shipped a dashboard - it is whether those teams trust the numbers, act on them, and are making better architectural calls because of what we built. Our north star is simple: any engineer at ASOS should be able to see what their services cost, understand why, and know what to do about it - without asking Finance or FinOps to find out for them. That is what we are building.
