    Happy 2 Help Community Care Ltd is a dedicated home care company based in Filey, providing compassionate support to Service Users in Filey, Hunmanby, and Scarborough. Our enthusiastic team of carers is committed to delivering high-quality care 365 days a year, ensuring that our clients receive the assistance they need in the comfort of their own homes. Shift patterns are 06:30 to 14:00 and also 15:00 to 22:00 depending on your availability. 5 days a week. Alternate weekends. Higher wage on weekends. Weekends only position is also available. Use of own vehicle is required for this role. Summary We are seeking a Mobile Assistant to join our caring team at Happy 2 Help Community Care Ltd. This role is essential in supporting our Service Users by providing personalized care and assistance while promoting their independence and well-being. Responsibilities • Provide compassionate and personalized care to Service Users in their homes., • Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication management., • Develop and maintain care plans tailored to individual needs., • Communicate effectively with Service Users, families, and healthcare professionals., • Drive to various locations to deliver care services as required., • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during service delivery., • Requirements, • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with Service Users and team members., • Experience in home care or a related field is preferred but not essential., • Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communication., • Ability to drive and have access to a vehicle for travel between service locations., • A caring attitude with a passion for helping others., • If you are passionate about making a difference in people's lives and want to be part of a supportive team, we invite you to apply for the Mobile Assistant position at Happy 2 Help Community Care Ltd today! Assist with mobility and transportation, including driving clients to appointments or social activities. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks. Document care provided and report any changes in clients’ conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Support clients with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other cognitive impairments through behaviour management techniques. Skills Proven experience in caregiving or home care settings is essential. Familiarity with assisted living, nursing home experience, hospice care, and senior care practices is highly desirable. Knowledge of first aid procedures and medication administration protocols. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility or transfers. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams. A valid driving licence is preferred for transportation responsibilities. Experience in childcare may be beneficial for those working with families or younger clients.
