We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional, and customer-focused Building Host to join a busy commercial property team. As the first point of contact for visitors, tenants, and contractors, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of a high-quality office building. \n About the Role \n This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a customer-facing environment, and takes pride in delivering a first-class service. \n You will provide front-of-house support, coordinate occupier services, assist with events and engagement initiatives, and help ensure the building maintains the highest standards of presentation and service delivery. \n \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Deliver an exceptional front-of-house experience for all visitors and occupiers.\n, • Welcome guests, manage visitor arrivals, and maintain site security procedures.\n, • Respond to enquiries via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions.\n, • Build positive relationships with occupiers and support tenant engagement activities.\n, • Assist with meeting room bookings, events, and workplace initiatives.\n, • Support environmental, social and community engagement programmes.\n, • Conduct regular checks of communal areas and report maintenance or cleaning issues.\n, • Liaise with contractors and service providers to maintain high building standards.\n, • Manage deliveries, post notifications, and general occupier requests.\n, • Provide administrative support to the wider facilities and property management team.\n\n \n Person Specification \n\n • Ideally 2 years' + experience in a self-managed, responsible Receptionist/Front of House/Events Venue or customer service role\n, • Basic understanding of Property Management industry.\n, • IOSH managing safely (desirable)\n, • Enthusiastic, passionate with a commitment to always delivering exceptional standards of customer service.\n, • Mature, accountable attitude with ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.\n, • Confident, outgoing personality with a corporate and professional outlook\n, • Tact, diplomacy and awareness of confidentiality\n, • Self-starter with the flexibility to undertake a range of duties\n, • Excellent level of IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.\n, • Good knowledge of social media including Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook.\n, • An excellent communicator/organiser with the ability to keep on top of multiple tasks.\n, • Keen eye for detail and able to work to deadlines.\n\n \n Salary / Package \n\n • £\n, • 25 days holiday + bank holidays\n, • Pension contribution\n, • Access to corporate / retail discounts\n, • Excellent opportunity for career progression\n\n At Gleeson Recruitment Group, we embrace inclusivity and welcome applicants of all backgrounds, experiences, and abilities.
