Senior HR Advisor Location: Dover (hybrid working available after training) Permanent: c£45,000/annum Successful applicants will live in Kent and have UK experience - those living outside of Kent with time limited right to work will not be considered. We are recruiting a Senior HR Advisor for a newly created role to support the business during a period of significant growth. This is a hands-on, ER-focused role requiring someone confident stepping into a fast-paced environment and adding value immediately. The Role This position will provide operational HR support with a strong emphasis on Employee Relations, supporting Managers and Senior Leaders across the business. Key Responsibilities • Provide proactive HR and ER advice to managers and senior stakeholders, • Independently manage Employee Relations cases of varying levels and complexities, • Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and internal policies, • CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience), • Strong Employee Relations background with proven experience managing high volumes of ER cases, including complex cases at senior level, up to and including tribunal, • Experience working within an industrial, manufacturing, retail or construction type environment, • Confident, pragmatic, and able to step into a 3-month contract and operate with minimal supervision, • On-site initially, • Hybrid working available once fully trained, • 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Join our client, a UK-based logistics provider specialising in full-load and groupage transport, with operations supported by their own fleet. As Transport Manager, you'll take charge of a fleet of 100+ vehicles, overseeing European operations while driving efficiency, safety and service excellence. Job title: Transport Manager Location : Dover Salary: £55,000+ (depending on experience) Hours : Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm + 1 in 3 Saturdays 8am - 1pm Role summary: To be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the haulage fleet, ensuring the safe, efficient and cost-effective movement of goods. Be on-call outside of business hours. Experience and skills required: Due to the nature of this business, there is a requirement to be on-call outside of business hours. Have a strong understanding of customs processes, post-Brexit. UK or European Transport Management experience. Valid UK and International CPC. Hold (or previously have held) a Class 1 Licence. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) A professional, positive and helpful attitude. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
